MEET LEAH

Leah Skipper, RDN, LD

Leah Skipper, RDN, LD, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who serves her rural community
through both hospital-based care and nutrition counseling. She is excited about the vision for
Nutrition Solutions and the Intentional Eating Program and has been steadily working through the
onboarding process, especially now that the holidays are behind her.

Recently, Leah’s contract hospital in Greenville went through a period of deep uncertainty,
including major layoffs and plans to cease inpatient services before being purchased by new
owners who have declared it “financially sound.” While the long-term future is still taking
shape, Leah remains hopeful for restored, high-quality rural healthcare and plans to continue
serving at her local hospital while stepping into more counseling work. She values honesty about
her availability and is grateful for the understanding and patience extended to her in this
season of transition.
